Fast Food is So Expensive, It Isn’t Even Worth It Anymore
The appeal of fast food used to be the price. Sure, it is also convenient if you’re on the go and in a rush. But there is nothing convenient about paying $15 for a mediocre meal that provides little to no benefit. When you could get 2 McChickens, a medium fry, and a medium drink for a total of $5, it was worth the sacrifice. I was more willing to trade clogged arteries and an early heart attack when I could get an entire meal for $5. If I have to pay $15 for a whole meal, might as well just go to the grocery store or an actual restaurant.
Let’s explore some of the negatives and positives of consuming fast food.
The downsides to eating fast food:
Higher blood pressure
Higher cholesterol
Bloated
Digestive problems
Less energy
Worsen mood
The upsides to eating fast food:
Fucking NONE
Trust me, I get it, Taco Bell is my shit! But eating any fast food more than once a week, or even once every couple of weeks can be detrimental to your overall quality of life.
