Expanding College Football Playoffs

This is what a college football playoff bracket would have looked like for this season…. All I can say is, thank god this is the last year without this format. It is long overdue, and the college football playoffs are going to be an absolute HIT!

At the very least, seeds 1-8 have a realistic chance at winning the title. Seeds 9-12 could still get lucky and win a game or 2 and get some help from others in the bracket.

After seeing both Georgia and Florida State get snubbed from this year’s playoff, I could not be more excited for the expansion of the college football playoffs. 40-45 players from 2 teams that could easily compete for the national title not playing is a massive L for the sport of college football.

There will most likely be around 40-45 players missing from the Orange Bowl between Florida State and Georgia combined.

The whole situation is a mess, with the portal, FSU’s CFP ranking, opt-outs, etc..

We just want to see the best players in college football get a chance to compete at the highest level, with everything on the line. This playoff expansion is giving us this opportunity, and we should see far less top players sitting out with the chance to add value to themselves for a possible career in the NFL.
