Top 5 Forms of Potatoes

I know very few people who don’t like potatoes at all, so I am interested to see what my potato preference looks like compared to everyone else.

  1. Mashed Potatoes - By far my favorite. We will include loaded mashed potatoes here also and not make it a separate thing. Any mashed potatoes and any toppings. This is my clear #1 and it is not even close.

  2. Crinkle Cut French Fries - French fries have to make the list, and grouping all french fries together does not seem right. My favorite style of french fry is the crinkle-cut fry. Not sure if the crinkles allow for a better crisp, or just hold onto the ketchup better, but crinkle-cut fries are the #1 fries in the game.

  3. Steak Fries - Next on the list is another french fry, but this time, the steak fry. The thickness and realness of these fries make them elite. You get the fried crispy outside of a french fry but also get the thicker soft side of the potato on the inside. Best of both worlds when done right.

  4. Shredded Hashbrowns - Hashbrowns go with every single breakfast. Some people like the hashbrown patty, but I am more of a shredded hashbrown guy myself. Mix it in with the rest of your food, or even add some cheese or ketchup to them and eat them as a standalone breakfast side.

  5. Baked Potato - I am not sure the last time I even had a baked potato, but a loaded baked potato is the perfect side for a steak. It has a little bit of a fancier aura to it, but still packs the same delicious punch as the rest of the potato styles.

My only honorable mention will be my newest addition to my diet. Cubed and baked sweet potatoes. I used to hate sweet potatoes, but for some reason, I have been loving them with my chicken and broccoli.
