Songs That the Clean Version is Better Than Explicit

Trust me, I don’t give a fuck about swear words, and that is not what bothers me. Some songs just sound better and make more sense when it is the clean version.

1.) Shawty is a 10 - The Dream

“Shwaty right there is a 10” sounds so much better to me than “Shawty right there is the shit.” It sounds much more smooth and fitting for this style of song to keep it clean.

2.) Best I ever had - Drake

Same idea as the first. “You da, you da best.” just fits so much better than “you the fucking best.” It obviously makes sense to use either, but I will listen to the clean version of this song 10/10 times over the explicit.

3.) Forget You - Cee Lo Green

This song I can listen to the explicit version and not be annoyed, because who doesn’t love a good “fuck you?” I still like the “forget you” version better, it almost has a bit more of a “fuck you” vibe than directly saying “fuck you.”
